Begin

⁰¹Released on April 4, 2023, Begin was created and produced by JUWAN. As a key release marking his formal expansion into music, the album documents his early exploration of sound, style, and personal expression.

⁰²Rooted in pop and incorporating electronic and other sonic elements, the album moves through distinct moods and atmospheres across its tracks. From melody and rhythm to its overall production, Begin reflects JUWAN’s understanding of music-making at the time and begins to establish the individual sound he would continue to develop.

⁰³“Begin” is more than the title of the release; it directly reflects the album’s place in JUWAN’s musical journey. It marks a new creative phase—moving beyond his earlier visual and content work into music, and beginning to build another form of personal expression through song.

⁰⁴As an important record of JUWAN’s early music career, Begin preserves the ideas and direction behind his first systematic exploration of music production, while serving as the starting point for the continued evolution of his later work.
